5 pound Fire extinguisher (tagged by a fire and safety specialist)

Receptacle covers in all visible and reachable outlets

Refrigerator Thermometer (must be 40 degrees or below)

Stairways must be maintained and free of storage items

Every room used for sleeping must have 2 means of escape

Every bathroom door lock is designed to permit the opening of the locked door from the outside in an emergency, and the opening device is readily accessible

Combustibles are stored away from heating units and water heaters

Hot water heater is properly installed

Wiring, fixtures, and appliances in the residence are safe
